Why I Give to the Rohingya People

The Rohingya are a group among the most persecuted and unreached in the world.

The Rohingya are a stateless Muslim minority, originally from Myanmar, who have faced decades of brutal persecution, violence, and extreme discrimination.  In 2017, over 700,000 Rohingya fled genocide and mass atrocities, seeking refuge in overcrowded camps in Bangladesh.  Today, more than 1 million live in fragile conditions without citizenship, rights, or a lasting hope.

Though the majority of Rohingya are Muslim, there is a quiet but growing Christian presence within the refugee camps.  Men and women who have come to know the love of Jesus through compassion, prayer, and faithful witness.

Christian Aid Ministries (CAM) serves on the front lines bringing hope, healing, and the love of Christ to some of the world’s most vulnerable people, including the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.  Through mobile medical clinics, compassionate outreach, and local partnerships, CAM meets urgent physical needs while gently planting seeds of spiritual hope in Jesus.

Their presence offers dignity, prayer, and Christlike love to people who may have never heard His name before.

I’ve chosen to support CAM with a portion of every dollar earned through coaching.   If this mission stirs your heart too, I invite you to join me in any amount you’re able by clicking the button below.  To learn more about their work with the Rohingya people go to: www.christianaidministries.org
