Lead from love, not for love.

Leading with Love vs. Doing Things for Love

March 1, 2025

As women if we aren’t careful, we can find ourselves caught in an exhausting loop of doing things for love.  Many Christian women struggle with self-worth, feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt, people-pleasing, and limiting beliefs that hold them back being able to recieve and give love from a place of wholeness.  As a Christian women’s breakthrough coach we bring awareness to these struggles to learn to lead from love, not for love.

This looks like seeking validation, striving for approval, accepting less than what we are designed for, and bending over backward to earn our place. In my old ways, that was me. If that’s you, and you’re ready for a change, I’ve got great news!

Love, in the Biblical sense was not meant to be earned! Love comes from and is embodied from a place of wholeness and awareness of who you belong to. Guess where I’m going with this – wholeness and oneness in Christ.

In John 15:9, Jesus says
“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.”
This verse shows we don’t work for love, we remain in it.

Jesus says, “Now remain, in my love.” This is THE place to be.

Jesus doesn’t command us to hustle for His affection; He invites us to abide in it. When we live from a place of love rather than chasing it, our actions become an overflow of what’s already within us.

We love from God’s abundance, not a place of perceived lack.

👉 Doing things for love looks like finding worth in how much you do for people rather than who you are in Him.
👉 Leading with love looks like making choices from a place of love, confidence, abundance, and not fear of rejection.

His love is not something we chase, it’s something we receive and then pour out. When we stop performing for love and start living from love, we become more aligned, at peace, whole, and joy filled in our purpose and in our works. I hope this encourages you today to go to God to discover your worth, let Him love you and remain in His love, from there you will pour out abundantly without lack.  If you don’t know where to start on this journey of abiding in God’s love and learning to live from love, schedule a free discovery call.

If this speaks to your heart and you’re ready to break free from what’s holding you back, I’d love to support you on this journey. Let’s connect—SCHEDULE A CALL to take the next step toward a safe, transformative space where you can fully receive love and pour it out to others.
